Blue violet Leaf (Viola odorata)
Actions: Alterative, depurative, expectorant, antineoplastic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic.
Common Use: This well-known tiny plant is valued greatly for its blood cleansing properties. In this respect it is hardly surpassed by any other plant. Even if the pollution of the blood has gone quite far, the cleansing effect of its leaves can be noticed quite plainly by its action of loosening mucous obstrucion in the inner organs, by its aid in the creation of better blood, and by its aid in improving the restistance of the body. Blue violet also has a long history as a cough remedy, aiding in the relief of bronchitis and upper respiratory problems. It may also play a useful role in providing relief of skin conditions, rheumatism and urinary infections. 20-60 drops 2-3 times daily.
