Jamaican Sarsaparilla Root (Equisetum arvense)
Actions: Alterative, depurative, antirheumatic, diuretic, diaphoretic, tonic.
Common Use: Sarsaparilla is a widely applicable alterative, and has a great reputation as a blood purifier. It may be used to aid proper functioning of the body as a whole and in the correction of such diffuse systematic problems as skin (psoriasis) and rheumatic conditions (chronic rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis). It has also been shown to contain chemicals with properties that aid testosterone activity in the body. 15 to 45 drops 2-3 times daily.
