Skullcap Herb (Scutellaria lateriflora)
Actions: Nervine tonic, sedative, antispasmodic.
Common Use: Skullcap is one of the most widely relevant nervines available. It relaxes states of nervous tension while at the same time renewing and revivifying the central nervous system. It has a specific use in the relief of seizure and hysterical states as well as epilepsy. Also beneficial in exhausted or depressed conditions, and can be used in complete safety in the easing of pre-menstrual pains. 30 to 60 drops 2-3 times daily or as needed.
