D-alpha tocopherol (vitamin E)
Derived from distillation of vegetable fats; used as an antioxidant.

Daucus carota sativa (carrot) seed oil
Derived from the carrot; rich in beta-carotene, nourishing and provides natural coloring.

Decyl glucoside
Derived from sugar; mild cleanser and foaming agent

Decyl polyglucose
Derived from sugar; mild and gentle cleanser.

Dehydroxanthan gum
Derived from natural carbohydrates; provides texture and viscosity.

Demineralized water
Water of which the minerals or salts are removed.

Demineralized water

Dermochlorella

Derived from silica (a naturally occurring component of sand and quartz); emollient, water repellent, adds shine to skin and hair.

Dimethicone copolyol
Derived from silica; emollient, water repellent, and adds shine to hair.

Dimethiconol
Derived from silica; provides a non-greasy lubricant for hair conditioners, and adds shine to hair.

Dioscorea villosa (wild yam) root
Derived from the root; anti-inflammatory and has healing properties.

Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate
Derived from licorice root; helps to reduce redness and inflammation.

Disodium 2-sulfolaurate
Mild cleanser that effectively removes surface oil and dirt, without stripping or drying.

Disodium cocoamphodiacetate
Derived from coconut oil; a safe, skin-friendly cleanser for both skin and hair that effectively removes surface oil, dirt and bacteria, without stripping or drying sensitive skin.

Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate
Derived from coconut oil and lauryl alcohol; very mild cleanser and foaming agent, excellent for sensitive skin.

Disodium oleamido succinate
Derived from oleic acid from sunflower oil; gentle surfactant and emulsifier.

DMAE
Dimethylaminoethanol
Derived from soy; firms, tones and retains skin's elasticity.
