Fluoride Filter
The
ionization process removes between 20 and 25 percent of the
fluoride that's been added to your tapwater. For those that
wish to remove fluoride more than this, there is the fluoride
prefilter that targets fluoride and removes 98%. This prefilter
also removes:

Arsenic
-
Hydrogen Chloride
-
Hydrogen Sulfide, and
-
Carbonyl Sulfide
The filter elements use activated alumina this is specially
designed to reduce fluorides to below 0.5 ppm. Laboratory tests
show that this preparation will approve the capability of the
filter to reduce the fluoride levels from 10 ppm F+
to below 0.2 ppm F+. Normal capacity
of the filter is over 8,000 ppm F+. They
are constructed of FDA approved materials. Arsenic is reduced
by 83% from 0.12 ppm to less than 0.02 ppm in the water. Normal
capacity of the filter is over 8,000 ppm F+.
Like our other prefilters, the fluoride filter,
FR10, simply installs "upstream" from or before the water ionizer.
The cost is $95.00 including shipping. Replacement cartridges,
RC-FR10, are priced at $60 each and should be replaced once
every 9 months or every 600 gallons, whichever is first.
