How It Works:

Rose Hips (Rosa canina), the fruit of the rose after the flower has bloomed and the petals have fallen, are native to Europe and North America. Rose Hips were once referred to as "Food of the Gods" by the ancient Greeks and used for their varied health benefits. During World War II, when faced with a serious shortage of fresh fruits, the governments of England, Sweden and Norway began looking to botanicals. They discovered that Rose Hips were an excellent food source. Because of their abundance, they were used in teas, soups, purees, etc. Rose Hips are still used today as a favorite nutritious food, often brewed into a delicate, fruity tea. Consider combining with Rooibos Tea.

Alvita Rose Hips Tea is made with premium-quality, organic rose hips, and produces a light and delightful fruity flavor and aroma.

Suggested Use:Place one tea bag in a cup and add 8 oz of boiling water. Cover and steep for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze tea bag and remove.

WARNING: If you are pregnant or nursing, taking any medication or have any medical condition, consult a health care professional before use. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Alvita Teas

In 1922, a group of alfalfa enthusiasts who believed that alfalfa's rich green foliage and deep root system contained "Vitamines" and minerals essential for good health innovated the way the plant was consumed by providing alfalfa in tea bags. The abbreviation of alfalfa and vitamins quickly led to the brand name "Alvita," and thus the Alvita Tea Company was born.
