Toxic heavy metals are a significant health concern because they tend to bio-accumulate, meaning their concentration can build up in the body over time. Unfortunately, exposure to environmental toxins is hard to avoid, since they are found in water, air, food, soil, household products and other common sources.
How PectaClear™ Works
In the body, both pectins and alginates naturally form stacks in what is known as the "egg box" model. Each pocket of the "egg box" contains a positively charged ion to balance the negatively charged chains. Normally the positive ions are sodium and potassium. However, toxic metals - especially lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and radioactive particles - have a higher affinity for the fibers and become trapped in the structure so the body can easily eliminate them.

PectaSol MCP's ability to support the removal of toxic metals has been shown in human clinical studies. Oral administration of PectaSol MCP to healthy humans resulted in significant urinary increases in lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, and showed a significant reduction in toxic metals without the depletion of essential minerals. Furthermore, when PectaSol is combined with Alginates (PectaClear) case studies show that the formula promotes a beneficial clinical outcome in individuals with known high body burdens of lead and/or mercury.
Suggested Use:
Intensive Detoxification: 6 capsules daily (3 capsules, 2 times daily)
Long term support: 1 capsule, 2 times daily
Standard Dose: 2 capsules daily
Additional Usage Guidelines:
This product is designed to be taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before or after food, supplements and/or medications. For long-term maintenance and for children less than 12 years of age, take 2 capsules daily.

Does PectaClear™ Contain Iodine?
One of the key ingredients in PectaClear™ is Alginate, which is a viscous gum (glutinous in nature, thick, sticky) derived from the cell wall of brown algae (seaweed). It is modified and purified, and contains no Iodine.

Are there are any Contraindication or Cautions for PectaClear™?
PectaClear has no known adverse effects or toxicity with long-term use. Because dietary fibers have the potential to bind and may affect absorption, it is recommended that this formula be taken at least 30 minutes away from the intake of drugs or supplements. No mineral deficiencies have been observed clinically but, as with all detoxification, a multivitamin/mineral supplement is recommended to provide extra nutritional support.
