Probiotics are living microorganisms that scientific research has shown to benefit human health. In some cases they are similar to, or the same as, the microbes already found in a healthy digestive tract. These microorganisms in our digestive tract are collectively called our microbiome. The microbiome is tied to digestion, the immune system, mood balance, essential nutrient creation, and plays a role in allergic reactions as well as viral, bacterial, fungal and yeast infections.
The microbiome can be thrown out of balance through stress, food, alcohol, exercise, medications and antibiotics. That's why taking a daily probiotic is so important to maintaining balance in the microbiome.
Ora's Probiotic Blend contains clinically documented and acid resistant strains to give a comprehensive mix of probiotic species for optimal digestive health, immune function, mood balance, hair & skin health, and pathogen fighting support (candida, yeast, bacterial and viral)*
What's In It?
Apples are not only naturally fresh and delicious, but also rich in phytochemical antioxidants, including quercetin and phloridzin, and have been found in laboratory conditions to slow the spread of cancer cells and even lower cholesterol!
Neither an artichoke, nor from Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Artichoke is a sunflower root that's high in fiber and a natural prebiotic - stimulating and feeding the Bifidobacteria in the gut.
Rubus idaeus L.
Apart from their delicious tangy flavor, raspberries are known for their Vitamin C, micronutrients and dietary fiber. Though few studies have been done in humans, in laboratory conditions red raspberry extract can reduce risk of metabolic and cardiovascular disease.
Tapioca is a starch extracted from the Cassava root, native to South America. It is used in a wide array of South American and Asian cooking, but it is also a good prebiotic, being naturally high in dietary fiber.
Lactobacillus Acidophilus is one of the most commonly used probiotic bacteria, due to its studied effects on reducing lung infection and treating of vaginal infections, such as Candida.
Though less well-known than its acidophilus counterpart, L. Reuteri has been studied to be effective in reducing colic in babies and potentially reducing eczema in 1-13 year olds.
B. Bifidum is one of the key bacteria to colonize an infants intestine shortly after birth, and play an important role in the development of a healthy immmune system.
B. Breve is the dominant species of bacteria to develop in the intestine of new, breast-fed infants, and are considered important to the establishment balanced intestinal microbiota in newborns.
B. Lactis is a probiotic strain known to be better performing in elderly adults due to the increased phagocytic (fighting off harmful foreign bacteria or dying cells) activity it can promote.
B. Longum has been called the 'Champion Colonizer of the infant gut' due to its ability to digest and consume Oligosaccharides in infants; essential to the development of the infant's intestinal microbiota.

When Ora Organic began searching for supplements that matched their high standards for food, they quickly realized there was a huge problem in the space. Companies were bottling cheap, synthetic chemicals in ugly and unsustainable packaging - making the whole supplement experience an unenjoyable mess. Ora Organic was created by and for healthy foodies to replace synthetic supplements with nutrients from organic & sustainable sources. That means omega-3 from microalgae and protein from plants! And because Ora Organic loves food, their very own chef created delicious organic flavors for their products! Because #yum
Ora, in the Maori language of New Zealand, means life, health & vitality. Ora (in California) creates organic, plant-based, chef-designed & sustainable nutrients. Ora's goal is to set the bar for quality, efficacy and radical transparency in an industry that desperately needs it. Nutritional supplements made from real, organic food.
Ora Organic's Plant-based Omega-3, Organic Probiotics + Prebiotics, Organic Superfood Protein and Organic Plant-based Multivitamin are made with the purest organic, plant-based ingredients. Ora chose to only make products with health benefits that are proven by decades of scientific, medical and nutrition research.
Ora Organic makes the supplement experience enjoyable (not just tolerable), and they brought on an in-house Chef to make Ora's products taste great. No more giant horse-sized capsules or pinching your nose to down something that tastes like a handful of dirt and grass. Ora Organic started with these products because the health benefits of omega-3 fatty acids (specifically DHA and EPA), probiotics and dietary protein are well documented and widely recognized by doctors, scientists and nutritionists. Tens of thousands of studies have proven that these nutrients are vital to our everyday health - regardless of age or gender. Ora doesn't deal with rare herbal supplements because their effects are typically unproven. Instead Ora focuses only on nutrients with commonly accepted benefits.
Ora Organic wants to bring the supplements industry into the 21st century with nutrients made from real organic food. No cutting corners, no synthetic ingredients - only proven benefits.
