Organic Bancha Tea
Botanical Name: Camellia sinensis
Origin: Japan
Description: Harvested late in the growing season, our organic Bancha has a light, refreshing flavor and mildly vegetal finish. This tea is one of the most popular in Japan.
Green Tea
Green Tea has been long valued for its medicinal and healthful properties, especially in Asia, and has now gained popularity in the Western culture. Our green tea is an exceptionally wholesome and flavorful beverage, which has a very high content of vitamins and minerals, including ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and several B vitamins. Five cups of green tea a day will provide 5-10% of the daily requirement of riboflavin, niacin and folic acid. Green tea leaves are unfermented, greenish in color; and have approximately 20-30% as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.
White Tea
White tea leaves are picked early in the season when the buds are fresh and tender; then the leaves are gently dried. White tea undergoes the least processing - the leaves are simply withered and dried. This method maintains higher levels of antioxidants, polyphenols and vitamins, while also yielding much less caffeine than the other tea varieties. Our exceptional white teas brew to a light golden color with a light, delicate flavor that is sweet and refreshing.
