World Organic Liquid Iodide is a source of iodine that when combined with the amino acid tyrosine forms the thyroid hormone thyroxin. Iodine deficiency is commonly associated with thyroid conditions such as goiter, cretinism, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Thyroid hormones control and regulate digestion, heart rate, body temperature, metabolism and weight, sweat gland activity, the reproductive system, and the nervous system.Potassium iodide is also widely used as a precaution during nuclear fallout when ingestion of 131-Iodine is ingested to prevent radiation sickness and radiation poisoning. Another essential mineral required for the utilization of iodine is copper.
Suggested Use: Adults, take two (2) drops daily in a glass of water or with meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
