Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant widely known to help support the immune system, assists in healthy aging, helps with collagen formation and skin health, and is an important factor for the absorption of iron. What makes ULTRA C unique is the encapsulation of vitamin C in a bi-lipid layer called a liposome. Liposomes protect nutrients from degradation by the digestive acids in the gut, which increases the amount of vitamin C reaching the site of absorption. The bi-lipid structure of the liposome is very similar to our body cell structure, meaning the vitamin C is more easily absorbed.
